Corner Points
This layer represents the location of every available quarter-section corner control monument provided by the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission. Each point contains a URL to corresponding dossier sheet. The dossier sheet is a record of a USPLSS control station showing identification of the corner and a sketch of the station in relation to important features in its immediate vicinity. Users will have access to this data layer in the side pane when a Location of Interest (LOI) is placed near available records. Positions were derived from Public Land Survey System quarter-sections of Wisconsin.
CSSD
This layer represents the polygonal location of every available Control Survey Summary Diagram (CSSD) sheet provided by the Southeast Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission. These diagrams summarize horizontal and vertical control survey information. Each CSSD covers six USPLSS sections and shows the location and type of monument for all section/quarter-section corners. Users will have access to this data layer in the side pane when a Location of Interest (LOI) is placed near available records. Positions were derived from Public Land Survey System sections of Wisconsin. The corner-points and CSSDs are to be used as reference material to acquire desired CSSD sheets and not meant to be used for analysis.
